Advancing LGBTQIA+ Rights via U.S. Foreign Policy
On 30 June 2022, the Center for Strategic and International Studies will hold a hybrid event with senior US government officials and civil society representatives on the protection and promotion of the rights of LGBTQIA+ people globally. The discussion comes following the April 2022 report by the US government, which marked the first time it reflected on efforts by agencies to advance the rights of LGBTQIA+ persons as part of the administration’s foreign policy agenda.
Discussants will include:

- Dr. Chloe Schwenke, President and Founder of the Center for Values in International Development
