V-Dem Democracy Report 2022 Discussion

The 2022 edition of V-Dem's annual Democracy Report shows the continued retreat of democracy and growing autocracy globally, despite the fact that evidence shows that democracies perform better across different indicators of development than autocracies. On 7 April 2022, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and V-Dem will hold an online discussion on V-Dem's report and global trends in democracy.
